Awhile back I made a strong by soaking about 1.5 cups of frozen pieces in a similar amount of cheap with perhaps 1/2c of granulated cane , all in a canning jar in my cabinet.

On this super-hot afternoon I poured two ounces of the lovely red raspberry liqueur into a glass full of and chased it with an ounce or so of American . Topped off the glass with for an utterly delightful strong .

In theory I am sitting down right now to do three hours of necessary gig work but we'll see how that goes as I swap tabs to procrastinate by drinking highballs and shitposting.

I might also explain that this cocktail recipe is an example of what I consider an important life skill: living well while poor as fuck. I don't think I've ever seen raspberry liqueur sold for less than $40 a bottle and that was low-proof and syrupy. Drink cheap booze, sure, but find cheap ways to make it great!
