Join me in Limoges (France) on March 25, 2025, for a conference & live digital painting performance! (in French) I explain the topics, the format and more info on this blog-post: https://www.davidrevoy.com/article1067/conference-in-limoges-france-on-25-march
New #introduction
I am a digital #artist working in #krita, making work with a somewhat automatic process, featuring strange ethereal beings, demons, and wizards. I am inspired by #weird #SciFi and #fantasy art of the 1970s and 80s, perhaps not unrelated to my love of #ProgRock and #HeavyMetal and #psychedelic music
I boost art that I enjoy, and I hope you will too :))

I really enjoyed Dredge and so I made my own mola encyclopedia page!
Pretty much drawn entirely during my time spending in the train when going to work or on my way home.
Yes there was constant shaking going on #deutschebahn
This is how you get the manga effect in #Krita. Import image, duplicate layer, first layer desaturate, screentone, second layer threshold.
Due to some kind of depressive state resulting from a mix of many things, and also due to a lack of time now I'm a full time dad with a huge lack of sleep, I didn't coded anything for #krita since a long time (my plugins or Krita itself).
I even didn't draw anything from a long time
I'm not sure when I'll be able to find time and energy to update and continue to improve the plugins but at least, I've migrated all my #github repositories to #codeberg
Repo on GitHub are still available in archive mode, with a link to their active Codeberg repo.
The night seemed so peaceful, covering the land in the forgiving colours of darkness. The shimmering of stars scattered, interrupted by the black of the clouds on the night sky. With dusk, there came a faint sound; a humming at first, it slowly grew into a growl, a roar. Then, she broke through the clouds: The "Nebelkrähe", like a claw tearing the skin of its prey, lair in the skies to the infamous Tyr Ambellan, carrying him from one site of massacre to the next, like a dark omen foreboding misery, like the wind carries a plague.

Another #Krita question: I often need to paste multiple times into the same exact location. Paste always pastes in the centre of the canvas, which isn't where I want to paste, and Paste at Cursor isn't precise enough. In Photoshop, I could make a selection, and pasted content would centre on that selection, which was very useful for this task. How do I achieve this in Krita?
